Newholme Surgery is committed to producing a high quality of care to our patients. The relationship between the patients and those working in the surgery is an important issue and is a two-way process.
Newholme Surgery pledges to treat patients with dignity and respect. Our staff and clinicians have the right to be treated with dignity and respect in return. Therefore, in order to protect the doctors, nurses, staff and other patients, we have a zero tolerance policy and respectfully point out that the following inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated:
- Rudeness
- Swearing
- Shouting
- Harassment
- Threatening, demanding or abusive behaviour
- Drunkenness
- Verbal/physical abuse
At no time will any such behaviour be tolerated in this practice and there can be no excuse of such towards members of this practice.
Harassment of any kind will not be tolerated. Patients who harass members of staff or clinicians or do not respect the rights of our doctors, nurses and/or staff, we may choose to make arrangements for you to be removed from our medical list.
